If you know me then you’ll know that this is one of my favorite tv series. I love the story, the theatrics, the schemes, the plots, the quotes, the execution, basically, I love everything. Fans have waited forever for this season and I just know it will break our hearts and shock us in the most glorious way one could ever imagine. Although I’m sad that this would be the last season I’m also super excited to see who sits on the throne. Like everyone, I have favorite characters.
I love Arya Stark. She has been through a lot and at a particular time, I stopped watching her scenes. It felt like she couldn’t catch a break. but now my girl is a force to reckon with. She would take your name and face if it pleases her and that. Is. Awesome! A lady, tried by life and trained by the best teachers Westeros could offer. Love it!
Another character I love is Danaerys. The character is a strong alpha female that knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get it. She also has a great cause that she fights for, abolishing slavery. She has compassion which is one of the things her father “The Mad King” and her brother Viserys lacked. I just dont feel that it will be enough to sit on the throne. She is a great conqueror though and Dracarys! is just an awesome one-liner.
Danaerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, The first of her name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, The Rhoynar and The first men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and The Mother of Dragons.Danaerys Targaryen when putting people in their place.
Sansa Stark is one character that I’m still on the fence about liking. I never really liked her to be honest. I felt that the character was spoilt, selfish and naive. She can’t be blamed for her naiveté though, it afforded her time to learn from the greatest of strategic planners, Cersei. Sansa redeemed herself in the last season though when she stopped the “why is this happening to me” behavior and started taking charge. She’s now the Cersei of the North. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, I guess we’ll find out. She sentenced little finger and served Ramsey Bolton with a befitting justice. I loved that part.
The character I love to hate is Cersei Lannister. She is a conniving, smart and ruthless Queen. I know that I shouldn’t like her but the way her schemes come together is nothing short of amazing. I mean she blew up the Great Sept of Baelor! and it was GLORIOUS! Also, Cersei’s vengeance is thrilling, she always pays her debt in ruthless and creative ways.
I can’t wait to see a lot of things like
- Reunions: Arya and the hound, Arya and Jon, Sansa and Tyrion, Yara and Theon, Jon and Samwell Tarly
- Face-offs: Jaime and Bran (three-eyed raven), Arya and the red woman, Arya and cersei.
- First time meetings: Danaerys, Arya and Sansa.
- Shocking revelation: Danaerys isn’t the last Targaryen.
- Is Tormund alive????
- Who will survive?
- Who will sit on the throne?
Can you tell just how much I love this show? I’m having to edit myself. lol. Do you watch GOT? Who is your
